What makes it hard
Human scanning has to handle skin, hair and clothing at once: skin scatters subsurface, hair is essentially unreconstructible fine structure, and dark fabric absorbs heavily. The subject also sways slightly, so capture has to be fast enough.
What we measured
A finished full-body capture. Organic curvature across torso and limbs is intact, and fabric folds are distinguishable.
