Use Cases
Mixing real and virtual starts with measuring the real part correctly
Immersion rests on how well the device understands the room: geometry has to be accurate, occlusion has to be right, and moving objects have to be tracked. Yet the surfaces most common in real environments — glass façades, mirrors, dark furniture — are exactly the ones consumer depth sensing handles worst. Holes and phantom surfaces in the reconstruction show up directly as virtual objects clipping through walls, or anchors that drift.
Where we fit
Environment geometry — LUC-VISION™ returns depth on reflective and transparent surfaces too, which means fewer holes to patch in the reconstruction.
Separating what moves — per-point radial velocity from LUC-HORIZON™ separates moving objects from static background within a single frame, so occlusion is handled more cleanly.
Where it is used
- AR glasses — virtual content that stays anchored in a real room
- VR / MR — real boundaries and obstacles mapped reliably into the scene
- Digital twins — built and updated from measurement rather than by hand
